Authentic Victorian crafts are highly sought after. Unfortunately most of the crafts from that era have not survived and those that have are generally extremely expensive. However, it doesn't mean that those of us who admire them have to do without. Just like those before us, we can use our imaginations and items that are available to us to recreate those beautiful items we love so much.
Here you will find authentic directions, illustrations and suggestions for items made during the mid-1800's to the early 1920's. Technically, the Victorian age did not last until the early 1920's but the Victorian flavor for decoration still existed and many great crafts were available then that you may enjoy. If a craft is not "authentic" but has the "Victorian flavor", it will be duly noted.
