Rambler Rose Embroidery.

Rambler Rose Embroidery seems to be another "specialty" type embroidery. Little can be found on the subject. I have not found a picture of the finished product to put here to show what the finished product really looks like. I have, however, decided to include this in the "Special Designs" section for those who like to experiment with different types of embroidery.

Rambler Rose Instructions

Build up 3/16 of an inch the center of the rose by running stitches across this space, intersecting at the center like the spokes of a wheel. Through the outside and around and around this raised center, constantly working outward and upward, work stitches as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, until the rose is completed, using different colors for shading, dark on the outside and lighter near the top, or just the reverse to give variety.
