Kate Greenaway Clipart

Kate Greenaway clipart is available for you to use on your personal projects. Don’t know who Kate Greenaway is? You may not, but if you love Victorian, I’m sure you know her art. Here most beloved illustrations usually depict children dressed in Regency-style clothes. Take a look at the clipart below and you’ll see what I mean.Ms. Greenaway was born in London, England in 1846. She was a painter, writer and illustrator, mostly of children’s books. In 1868 she produced Valentine and Christmas cards for Marcus Ward, Belfast. In the beginning many critics criticized her work but it won the hearts of the English people as well as those in America and the rest of the world. She went on to write many much loved children’s books. She also wrote yearly almanacs (1888-1897) which were very popular. She died in London, in 1901.
