How to Work the Raised Rope Outline StitchRaised Rope Outline stitch is very handsome in heavy silk. The method of making is shown below. Click on picture to see more detail. The stitch can be varied by making the stitches which cross rather small and further apart. There is but the one thread as shown. To Work: The thread is brought out at the top of the line along which the work is to be done, and the first stitch is made in the same way as the last shown.
