The Leaf Stitch

The Leaf Stitch is an ornamental stitch resembling an ear of barley when complete. It is a combination of the Chain, Railway and Picot Stitch. As can be seen, it makes a beautiful leaf. It is fast and easy to do, as well.

To work: Work a Chain in the center line, a Railway Stitch slanting to the right of the chain, and a Picot Stitch to the left, then return to the center line and repeat the three stitches.
