A Victorian Hair Pin Holder

Here is a beautiful hair pin holder that you can make to display and use on your dressing table or dresser.

These ribbons are allowed to drop over the outside of the basket, as shown in the above figure, and form a pretty finish; the top opening is then filled in with pink zephyr in tuft stitch; this is to receive the hair pins.
