Bellows Bodkin and Pin Holder

This little Victorian Gift - a Bellows Bodkin and Pin Holder – is truly a cute piece. Reminiscent of the old bellows used to fan the fire, this little bodkin and pin holder is sure to be a beautiful addition to any Victorian lover’s collection.

Victorian Gift – Bellows

Materials:
  1. Card
  2. Some silk or satin
  3. Some spangles
  4. A bodkin
  5. Pins, and
  6. Sewing silk.
Cut two pieces of card, the shape of Fig. 10; cover each on one side with silk or satin — both look best alike; sew them together. Leave open a space for the bodkin, which forms the nose.

On the right side fix spangles with gum, a circle in the centre, and the rest dotted about. All round the edge, between the sewing, place pins.
