Spring is Almost Here!

We have had some warmer weather! I know, I know... It won't last. Winter hasn't finished showing itself and is playing with me ... giving me just a taste of Spring and then taking it away again. However, I'll take what I can get. :-) I've been busy trying to get caught up with all the information I want to get to you. Warmer weather or not, I'll continue to keep all kinds of goodies coming your way.

Here are some things you might find of interest.

What's New!

Personalizing handmade gifts make them even more special, however many people don't know the proper way to do so. Here is some information that will answer all your questions.

Alphabet Design Embroidery - was originally used to mark household linens but because it was so beautiful, ladies began using it to personalize handkerchiefs and other items for their beaus and husbands. Soon it was used on an endless list of gifts. Once you try this, you'll see why.

Learn all about it: Alphabet Design Embroidery.

Have You Missed Anything?

I had a lot of information on my site before starting the VEAC Newsletter and not all of it has been mentioned in the newsletter. Take a look at the following pages and see what you have missed!

Embroidery Stitches - a large list of embroidery stitches with decriptions of the stitch.

Types of Embroidery - a long list of different types of embroidery used by Victorian ladies. You will find all the information you need for each of them.

Sitemap - shows almost everything that is on the site in an easy to find manner. It is divided into subjects - embroidery, crochet, knitting, etc. - so that you can find what you are looking for quickly.

Something New and Fun

I found this site interesting and I thought you might like it, too.

It does take a few seconds to load, so be patient. Be sure to watch the video! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
