Hope You Enjoy!

Today is the first day of Summer and boy does it feel like it! It may be hot but it is beautiful outside. This may be the perfect time to sit by the window and enjoy the outside, from inside, while doing a new Victorian needlework project or craft. Here are a few to try.

Filet Crochet has been around for a long time but many people do not know exactly what it is. Here is some general information about Filet Crochet to see if it is a needlework that may be of interest to you.

Here is a pattern in Filet Crochet that you might want to give a try:

For those who love to crochet, here is a antimacassar (doily) you might like to try. It would look beautiful on just about any table.

I have been adding a series of centerpieces to the site. They have come in all shapes, sizes and motifs. Here is the latest one - a beautiful embroidered violet centerpiece. Make a Beautiful Violet Centerpiece.

A new stitch has been added to the Embroidery Stitch page - the Italian Hemstitch. Check it out! Learn the Italian Hemstitch.

I have had a reader ask if I could recommend someone who fixed parasols. I do not. If you have someone you know that does this type of work, please let me know. I'll pass it on to her as well as post it next month for those of you who may want the information also.

That's it for this newsletter.

Until next time....

With warmest regards,
